    I had a Belgian Waffle with blueberries, chocolate sauce, and maple syrup and butter!!  It was sooooo delicious!!!  And my mocha was yummy, too.  
    Thank you Appleton Café!  I will return, very soon!  (Maybe tomorrow?  Lol)

    I went to this cafe for the first time today. The coffee and pistachio muffin I got were great, but honestly the location and seating are the best. I'll certainly visit this place again!

    Two travelers grabbing breakfast to go on a weekday.  Unfortunately, I did not open mine until we were on the road.  My quite expensive turkey, egg and cheese bagel sandwich was served up on a completely burnt bagel, with absolutely no cheese and no seasoning whatsoever on the eggs or turkey.  Major disappointment.  If this is the norm, I have no idea how they stay in business. I won't be going back.

    Initially this summer I had an excellent  experience at this place but something has changed..

    The woman who is now at the cash register has no enthusiasm for her work or for her customers; she just goes through the motions and that's it.

    The benches on the sidewalk near the door are broken and unsafe to sit on.

    It's sad what has happened to this place which once had such promise.

    I was starting to get sick of the lunch crowd around the area so I looked for a new place. I've been to Appleton Cafe many many years ago and had a pleasant breakfast so I decided to give it a go. I wanted a soup and a sandwich, the cashier automatically asked if I wanted to make it into a combo. I'm not a big eater so I definitely appreciated the gesture. Half a grill cheese and a cup of chicken soup came to $9. Atmosphere was relaxed.  Will come back more often!
